Basif Integrated Farms Ltd. is a family-owned agribusiness enterprise with deep roots in Nigeria’s agricultural development. The company was originally established in 1988 by Alhaji B. A. Babaji Safiyo, a visionary farmer and entrepreneur who dedicated his life to promoting sustainable food production and rural empowerment.

What began as a small family farm has now evolved into a fully integrated agricultural company, officially registered in 2016 under the name Basif Integrated Farms Ltd.

Today, the enterprise is proudly managed by members of the Babaji Safiyo family, continuing the founder’s legacy of integrity, innovation, and community development.

For over three decades, Basif Integrated Farms has remained committed to enhancing Nigeria’s agricultural value chain, providing quality food products, creating jobs, and promoting self-reliance across local and regional markets.

We specialize in rearing and breeding healthy, high-yield livestock using modern facilities and professional care. Our livestock includes: Poultry (Broilers & Layers) Turkeys Goats Sheep Cattle Each section is managed by skilled attendants and veterinary experts to ensure productivity, health, and quality meat and dairy output.

Our aquaculture division focuses on the production of fresh, nutritious, and market-ready fish using sustainable pond systems and high-quality feeds. We aim to bridge the gap between local fish demand and supply, while ensuring food safety and consistency.

We cultivate a wide range of staple crops under modern, sustainable, and mechanized farming systems. Our major crop production includes: Maize, Rice, Soya Beans Groundnut. We utilize improved seeds and eco-friendly farming techniques to ensure high yields and long-term soil fertility.

The Basif Rice Milling Factory is one of the major divisions of the company, designed to process premium quality, stone-free, and hygienically packaged rice under the brand name Basif Rice. Our rice mill operates with state-of-the-art technology, producing rice that meets national and international quality standards. Basif Rice has become a trusted household name for freshness, purity, and great taste.
